Shaw healthcare is seeking a Domestic Supervisor for West View in Tenterden, Kent. The role leads a domestic team to keep the home clean, safe and welcoming for residents in dementia, residential and respite care.

You will ensure high cleanliness and organized work, supervise tasks, and maintain dignity and comfort for residents while working with the team to deliver exceptional service.

Salary:£14.70 per hour

Shaw is looking for a Domestic Supervisor who is ready to make a positive impact at West View, a care home in Tenterden, Kent. The facility specialises in dementia, residential, and respite care, providing a safe and supportive environment.

At Shaw healthcare, our residents are at the heart of everything we do. As a Domestic Supervisor, you'll play an important role in ensuring our home is clean, comfortable, welcoming and maintained to the highest possible standard.

What you’ll be doing

As part of your role, you'll be responsible for helping to maintain an excellent standard across the home, including:

Supervising and supporting the domestic team on a day-to-day basis

Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation are consistently maintained

Helping ensure residents' rooms and communal areas are clean, comfortable and welcoming

Organising workloads and allocating tasks to ensure the domestic service runs effectively

Supporting, motivating and developing members of the domestic team

Carrying out regular checks to ensure standards are maintained

Overseeing laundry processes and ensuring they are completed efficiently

Ensuring cleaning products and equipment are used correctly and safely

Following relevant COSHH, health and safety and infection-control procedures

Ensuring our residents' dignity, privacy and individual needs are always respected

Leading by example and promoting a positive, respectful and supportive team culture

Ordering stock and cleaning supplies.

You'll also be expected to work alongside the team when required, ensuring we continue to deliver an excellent service even during busy periods.
