Job summary

Care Concern Group Limited is seeking a Domestic Assistant at our Kent care home near Canterbury. You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment, including resident rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, while assisting with laundry and ensuring items are handled with care.

The role emphasises hygiene, infection control, and teamwork to support wellbeing and comfort for residents. Prior experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Reliable and positive attitude.
• Strong cleanliness standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene.
• Support laundry services and handle personal belongings with care.
• Follow infection control, health and safety, and cleaning procedures to complete tasks safely.
