Shaw healthcare (Group) Ltd is recruiting at Homefield House, a 24-bed dementia care home in Basingstoke, for a passionate care worker. You will provide person-centred care, assist with personal care, and maintain accurate care records while promoting dignity and inclusion.

Shaw offers thorough training, ongoing support, development opportunities, and a supportive team environment. The role includes 2x 20:00–08:00 shifts, 24 hours per week, at £13.45 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
• Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment

Hours: 24 hours per week

Shift Times: 2x 20:00-08:00 shifts (includes alternative weekends)

Homefield House is a 24 bed dementia nursing care home. Homefield House is a modern, purpose-built care home designed to meet the specific needs of individuals living with dementia. The home is located in a quiet, rural setting, with easy access to local amenities and transport links.
