Job summary

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Residential Team Leader for Hillside Lodge, a 60-bed care home in Pulborough. You will lead shift teams, ensure high-quality person-centred care, and oversee medication administration in line with policies.

The role requires NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and experience with older residents, with flexible 12-hour shifts on a 4-week rota including some weekends.

Salary: £15.36 - £16.00 per hour
Hours: 48 hours per week
Shift Times: Flexible on 4 week Rota on 12hr shifts (20:00-08:00) - includes alternative weekends

Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at Hillside Lodge, a modern purpose designed 60 bed care home situated in the beautiful West Sussex village of Pulborough. Hillside Lodge offers a range of services to support residents' physical, emotional, and social needs, including 24-hour nursing care.

Job Responsibilities

As a Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of person-centred care and supporting your team to uphold those standards in everything they do. This will include, but not limited to:

• Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
• Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
• Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager

Qualifications And Experience

• Experience working with older people in residential care
• You will have completed your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent)
• You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative
