Apex M&E Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Domestic Service Engineer to service HIU systems across new-build residential sites. You will diagnose faults, carry out planned maintenance, install and commission HIU units, and complete associated plumbing works while delivering excellent customer service.

You will work safely to high Health & Safety standards, participate in the emergency on-call rota, and benefit from a company vehicle, training, and progression opportunities in a growing national

Qualifications

• NVQ Level qualification or equivalent in relevant engineering/plumbing
• Current technical background in building services engineering
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
• Adaptability in a fast-moving industry
• Good computer skills including MS Office and data-handling systems
• Full UK driving licence

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and resolve service faults, including repair and renewal works
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance
• Install and commission HIU systems on new-build residential sites

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Domestic Service Engineer on behalf of a leading national provider of sustainable heating and energy solutions. With over 35 years of industry experience and hundreds of employees across the UK, this is an exciting opportunity to join a company at the forefront of the UK's transition towards more efficient heating solutions.

The business specialises in the design, installation, maintenance and management of plant rooms and heat networks, working with major organisations including local authorities, universities, housing associations, private landlords and energy suppliers.

As the Domestic Service Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring HIU systems are installed, commissioned and maintained to the highest standards across new-build residential developments. The company will provide HIU training so you are qualified to work on them.

You’ll be carrying out a mixture of fault finding, repairs, planned maintenance, installations and commissioning, making this a varied role with plenty of opportunity to develop your technical skills.

Skills & Qualifications

• The ability to adapt and thrive within a fast-moving industry
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data-handling systems
• A full UK driving licence
