Responsibilities

• Empty waste bins and manage refuse per hospital protocols.
• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Job Introduction

We’re looking for a Domestic Laundry Assistant to join our Sodexo team at Royal Stoke Hospital .In this vital role, you’ll help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environmentfor patients, staff, and visitors. Your work will directly support health andwellbeing throughout the hospital. What you’ll do:

• Launder Dirty Mops


• Lift Cages of wet mops once laundered


• Collect dirty mops and distribute clean mops back out to zones using cages to transport mops


• Perform daily tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, floor polishing and replenishing supplies within your work area


• Empty waste bins and manage refuse in line with hospital protocols within your work area


• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all patients, staff and visitors
