Sodexo is hiring a Domestic Cleaner at Royal Stoke Hospital. You will work to maintain a clean, welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors, supporting health and wellbeing throughout the hospital.

The role requires physical work across wards and communal areas with a focus on safety, professionalism and excellent service. 26.25 hours weekly, 2pm–10pm, with benefits and pro rata holidays.

Responsabilités

• Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, and communal spaces.
• Strip and clean beds, collect used linen for processing.
• Clean surfaces including desks, vents and walls to keep a hygienic environment.
• Perform daily tasks: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping and replenishing supplies.
• Empty waste bins and manage refuse per hospital protocols.
• Promote a safe, healthy environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Job Introduction

What you’ll do:

• Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, communal spaces, restrooms, and other hospital areas
• Strip and clean beds, collect used linen for processing
• Clean surfaces, including desks, ceilings, vents, blinds, and walls, to maintain a hygienic environment
• Perform daily tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, floor polishing, and replenishing supplies
• Empty waste bins and manage refuse in line with hospital protocols
• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all patients, staff, and visitors
