Job summary

At Sodexo, you will support stores operations at Royal Stoke Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent, handling goods receipt, delivery coordination, and stock control. The role requires good numeracy, literacy, basic food hygiene, and PC skills.

Qualifications

• Assist in receipt for all goods received, checking quality and quantity.
• Maintain delivery schedules to all areas, including patient meals to outer buildings.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in receipt for all goods received, checking quality and quantity
• Ensure all delivery notes are processed promptly in accordance with procedures
• Maintain delivery schedules to all areas, including patient meals to outer buildings
• Place orders with approved suppliers
• Ensure stock levels are controlled and rotation procedures are maintained
• Maintain standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the storeroom
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Average level of numeracy and literacy skills
• Basic food hygiene
• PC skills
• Knowledge of Health and Safety
• Physically able to undertake manual work i.e. lifting and moving stores, handling equipment, and walking around the site

Position details

• 37.5 Hours per Week / Any 5 Days out of 7/ Shift Times between 06:00 - 21:00
