Job summary
Axis CLC Group is seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to service, repair and install domestic gas systems across the Preston area. You will work on occupied and void properties, performing gas safety checks and ensuring compliance with Gas Safe regulations while delivering excellent customer service.
You will hold ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1) and bring strong fault finding and plumbing skills. The role offers a company van, benefits and development opportunities within Axis CLC's
Qualifications
- Domestic gas engineer with current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1).
- Strong fault finding, problem solving and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and manage workloads.
- Experience in MOD/public sector or social housing would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance of domestic gas appliances, boilers and heating systems.
- Complete plumbing repairs and installations within occupied and void properties.
- Diagnose faults and deliver high-quality first-time fixes wherever possible.
- Undertake gas safety inspections and ensure compliance with Gas Safe and Health & Safety regulations.
- Complete accurate job documentation and maintain excellent customer service standards.
- Work closely with colleagues, supervisors and clients to deliver efficient, safe and compliant services.
