Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to service, repair and install domestic gas systems across Colchester, Wattisham, Wimbish and Woodbridge. You will work on occupied and void properties, ensuring safety, compliance and high standards of workmanship while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1; HTR1 and G3 are desirable), strong fault-finding skills and the ability to manage workloads with limited supervision.

Qualifications

Experience as Domestic Gas Engineer with strong plumbing skills.
Demonstrated fault-finding and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage workloads with handheld devices.

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance of domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
Complete plumbing repairs and installations in occupied and void properties.
Undertake gas safety inspections and ensure compliance with Gas Safe and safety regulations.
Document work accurately and maintain excellent customer service standards.
Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and clients to deliver safe and compliant services.
