Mark May is seeking a Domestic Electrician for work across Huntingdon and surrounding areas. The role offers a salary up to £41,600 depending on experience and full-time, permanent employment.

You will perform electrical repairs, installations and maintenance on domestic properties, with planned works including rewires and safety installations. A valid NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition are required, along with a strong focus on safety and first-time fixes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven domestic electrical maintenance or social housing experience.
• Strong testing and fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of electric heating systems and cooking circuits.
• Full understanding of Health & Safety and safe isolation.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out electrical repairs, installations and maintenance across domestic properties.
• Completing planned works, including rewires, consumer unit replacements, smoke alarms, fans and remedials.
• Diagnosing faults and delivering responsive repairs with a first-time-fix approach.
• Conducting EICRs, inspections, testing and remedial works.
• Ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and current IET Wiring Regulations.
• Maintaining accurate job records and certification using a PDA.
• Liaising professionally with residents, clients and supervisors.
• Participating in a rotational out-of-hours call-out rota.
