Sodexo is seeking a Domestic Cleaner at Royal Stoke Hospital. You will help create a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors, contributing to overall health and wellbeing within the hospital.

The role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail and pride in delivering exceptional service. It features a 26.25 hour week, 4 on 4 off shifts from 2pm to 10pm, with benefits including uniform provision and pro rata holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards and communal areas.
• Strip and clean beds, collect used linen for processing.
• Clean surfaces including desks, ceilings, vents, blinds and walls.
• Perform daily tasks: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, floor polishing and replenishing supplies.
• Empty waste bins and manage refuse per hospital protocols.
• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all patients, staff and visitors.
