Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group is seeking a Domestic Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe environment for service users and staff at our Corsham location. The role involves cleaning duties across bedrooms, communal areas and facilities, with adherence to COSHH and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Understand Health and Social Care Act 2008.
• Ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks & communicate effectively.
• Genuine interest in social care environment.

• Physically and mentally demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Company Mission Statement at all times.
• Ensure Home's furniture, furnishings and fittings are clean.
• Clean floors, walls and ceilings.
• Clean carpets when necessary.
• Empty wastebaskets and bins daily following safety norms.
• Clean internal windows monthly.
• Clean bedrooms weekly; communal areas daily.
• Clean sinks, en-suites, bathrooms and toilets daily.
• Store chemicals in line with COSHH requirements.
• Restock paper products and dispensers.
