Maria Mallaband Care Group is seeking a Domestic Assistant in Ayr to support the care home team, maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.

You will follow the Home's standards, handle daily cleaning tasks, stock dispensers, and adhere to safety guidelines while demonstrating care and compassion in a busy residential setting. This role offers apprenticeship opportunities and a supportive team with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate care and compassion.
• Able to manage pressure, prioritise tasks and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a social care environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Company Mission Statement at all times.
• Ensure the Home's furniture, furnishings and fittings are clean.
• Clean all surfaces of floors, walls and ceilings.
• Clean carpets when necessary.
• Empty wastebaskets and bins daily and dispose of waste safely.
• Clean internal windows monthly.
• Clean bedrooms weekly and communal areas daily.
• Clean sinks, en-suites, bathrooms and toilets daily.
• Store chemicals in line with COSHH requirements.
• Restock paper products and dispensers.
