Job summary

Barnes Lodge Care Home, part of Avante Care & Support, is seeking a friendly Domestic Assistant to help keep the home clean, safe and welcoming for residents. You will work full-time hours with alternative weekends included, earning £12.75 per hour.

Duties include cleaning resident rooms and shared spaces, maintaining hygiene, following schedules, replenishing supplies, and reporting issues to keep the home comfortable and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is a bonus but not required.
• Understanding of hygiene standards or willingness to learn.

• Keep resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared spaces clean and inviting.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control.
• Follow cleaning schedules and best practices.
• Replenish supplies and report maintenance issues.
