Job summary

Avante Care & Support Ltd. is seeking a Domestic Assistant for Bridge Haven to maintain high cleanliness and comfort across resident rooms, bathrooms and communal areas. You will support a welcoming home environment, following health and safety policies and infection control standards.

The role requires reliability, a caring approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Full DBS checks and uniform are provided, with flexible working arrangements.

• Experience in cleaning or domestic roles.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control standards.

• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures

• Use cleaning equipment safely and correctly
• Support a welcoming, comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff
• Work in line with health and safety regulations and care home policies

About You

• Previous cleaning or domestic experience (desirable)
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control standards (or willingness to learn)
• Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
• A caring and respectful approach when working in a home environment
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
