Job summary

Murphy is recruiting a Document Controller to join our Infrastructure team on a major water project with United Utilities. You will manage construction documentation through a controlled process and maintain registers, numbering and distribution workflows.

You will ensure quality, legibility and traceability of all project documents and support handover packages. You will work with Hummingbird, BIW and Aconex, build strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to on-time project delivery on

Qualifications

• Experience using document management systems to control construction documentation.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure document control is the focal point for all construction documentation and is managed in a controlled manner.
• Create and maintain document registers and distribution lists; allocate document numbers as per procedures.
• Quality check documents for accuracy, legibility and proper formatting; maintain traceability.
• Archive documents electronically and support handover documentation (O&M, H&S, as-built records).
