Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking a meticulous Document Controller in Exeter to manage all project documentation and ensure accurate, current records. You will work with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain effective document control across platforms.

You will guide teams on procedures, support CDE systems like ASITE/BIW/4Projects, and maintain business archives with strong attention to detail. A background in construction documentation and BIM awareness is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Document Controller and knowledge of doc management processes.
• Strong administration, organisational, and MS Office skills.
• Basic understanding of BIM and ability to work with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control project document flow, ensuring materials are current and distributed to stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and training on document control procedures and CDE platforms.
• Maintain document control systems, archives, and information management processes.
• Monitor documentation and provide regular reporting; support project/design teams.
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information while enabling process improvements.
