We are seeking a dedicated Document Controller for a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. This role is to support during the critical shutdown phase. The Document Controller will be responsible for all project-related documentation, ensuring it's organized, accurate, and readily available to all team members. This includes everything from blueprints and specifications to reports, contracts, and change orders etc. They are responsible for the entire lifecycle of documents, from creation and review to distribution and archiving.
Please note this is a contract position between the 19 th May to 15 th August and you must be available in this period. For candidates that display exceptional performance, there could be opportunities to stay with the business longer term. In this role you will be expected to work 9-hour shifts (e.g. 7am – 6pm).
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Document Controller will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Maintain and manage all documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
2. Implement and uphold document control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
3. Collaborate with various departments to ensure document accuracy and consistency.
4. Provide support in the preparation and distribution of documents for projects and audits.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Document Controller we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in document management or control within a construction or Pharmaceutical setting.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with document control systems and software.
