Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain project documentation using the company's document management systems.
  • Ensure all drawings, specifications, technical submissions and project documents are accurately recorded, distributed and archived.
  • Control document revisions and maintain accurate version control.
  • Issue documentation to clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams in a timely manner.
  • Monitor document workflows and ensure deadlines for submissions and approvals are met.
  • Maintain project registers, including drawings, RFIs, technical submittals and operation & maintenance manuals.
  • Support project teams with document retrieval and reporting.
  • Ensure documentation complies with company procedures and client requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation and compilation of project handover documentation.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to maintain effective document control processes.

We are working on behalf of a well-established and growing main contractor that is looking to appoint an experienced Document Controller to support the successful delivery of a diverse range of construction projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business with a strong pipeline of secured work, delivering projects across the commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring project documentation is managed accurately, efficiently and in line with company and client requirements.

The Role

As Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing all project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with project managers, site teams, commercial staff, consultants and subcontractors, you will ensure documents are issued, tracked and maintained to the highest standards.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.
