A leading Tier 1 contractor in Bournemouth seeks a Document Controller to support commercial and residential projects valued from £1M to £90M. The role involves document management, team collaboration, and client interaction. This opportunity is open to experienced candidates as well as recent construction graduates.
Job Description
Document Controller required to join a leading Tier 1 contractor based in Bournemouth, to aid with an array of commercial & residential projects including health care, education, industrial, and office facilities ranging in value from £1M - £90M across the south coast.
As the Document Controller, you will be working closely alongside the production and commercial teams, design consultancies, and subcontractors. You will be responsible for seeing projects through from conception to completion. This role will involve regular client interaction, controlling construction management systems, managing drawing documents, overseeing client return documents to ensure they meet system standards, and other ad-hoc administrative duties.
This position is with a busy Tier 1 south coast-based main contractor group with a turnover exceeding £190M, and a secured pipeline of work within the region. Ideally, you will have experience within the construction field.
However, this is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate with a construction degree or someone looking to enter the construction industry. Key attributes include exceptional communication skills, diligence, a methodological mindset, and a quality-oriented nature.
