Job Summary

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, is a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings, ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world’s largest companies. To support our teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Document Controller located in Castle Mills, Kendal. Reporting to the Lead Document Controller, you will assist with the day-to-day online documentation process, managing uploads and submissions using various online platforms.

What a typical day looks like:
  1. Edit documentation in line with LDC requirements.

  2. Liaise directly with end client Document Controllers.

  3. Manage time-critical documentation efficiently.

  4. Generate and update project documentation; collate information for reporting.

  5. Copy, scan, and store documents.

  6. Review and update technical documents (manuals, workflows) with team guidance.

  7. Distribute project-related copies to internal teams.

  8. File documents in physical and digital records.

  9. Create templates for future use.

  10. Retrieve files as requested by employees and clients.

  11. Manage the flow of documentation within the organization.

  12. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and terms of agreement.

  • Organizational skills and initiative.

  • Confidence under pressure and handling multiple objectives.

  • High level of organization with thorough working methods.

  • Some travel may be required.
