Job summary

Big Motoring World in Norwich is looking for a Display Operative to join our busy forecourt team. You will help maintain the presentation of vehicles, move stock and assist customers with access to vehicles as needed.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and you'll work with the sales team to ensure stock is easy to view and available. We offer uniform and training, plus a friendly, supportive environment on site.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the presentation and organisation of the forecourt to the highest standard
• Moving and arranging vehicles as needed, ensuring the site is well-stocked and visually appealing
• Processing new stock deliveries – moving vehicles from the inbound transporter to the forecourt
• Assisting the sales team with stock access and selection
• Managing the yard’s day-to-day operations, including sold, part-exchange, and auction vehicles
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues, and management
• Keeping the forecourt clean, safe, and customer-friendly at all times

Key Responsibilities

Maintaining the presentation and organisation of the forecourt to the highest standard

Moving and arranging vehicles as needed, ensuring the site is well-stocked and visually appealing

Processing new stock deliveries – moving vehicles from the inbound transporter to the forecourt

Assisting the sales team with stock access and selection

Managing the yard’s day-to-day operations, including sold, part-exchange, and auction vehicles

Communicating clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues, and management

Person Specification

Hold a Full UK Driving Licence - Any job offer that requires driving company vehicles is subject to a DVLA check, and applicants with six or more penalty points or a previous disqualification may not meet our insurance requirements and therefore may not be eligible for employment.
