Job summary

SUPERDRUG Wellington is seeking a part-time Trainee Pharmacy Assistant or qualified Dispenser to join our supportive pharmacy team. The role offers 16 hours per week across two days, including every other Saturday, with hourly pay of £13.80 for Dispenser or up to £13.00 for Trainee.

We welcome NVQ Level 2 qualified candidates or those new to pharmacy who are passionate about healthcare and customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career.
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Deliver excellent service at the pharmacy counter and in the dispensary.
• Ensure customers and patients are served with care and professionalism.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising.

Location: Wellington

Hours: 16 hours per week, over 2 days, to include every other Saturday

Salary: £13.80per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.00 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment

We're Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required - just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
