Job summary

Superdrug in Cardiff is hiring for a part-time position supporting the pharmacy team in counter sales and dispensary duties. We welcome NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or someone starting as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant, with no experience required beyond a genuine interest in healthcare and customer service.

The role focuses on delivering excellent service, maintaining presentation standards, and working both independently and as part of a team in a busy pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR interest in healthcare to start as trainee.
• No prior experience required; passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly attitude, willingness to learn.
• Team player or able to work independently.
• Confident to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Open to training in additional services.

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Cardiff, Albany Road

Hours: 8 hours per week. Ideally we are looking for somebody to work Monday and Tuesday afternoons with some flexibility as and when needed to cover holiday and any absence.

Salary: £14.20 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.15 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)
