Job summary

Superdrug Stores plc in Monmouth is inviting applications for a role in our pharmacy team. We welcome qualified Dispensers or those with no pharmacy experience who want to start as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant, working 16 hours per week with flexible Saturday cover.

This position offers progression, friendly team, and customer-focused service in a busy pharmacy, with training provided and opportunities across our network of clinics and stores.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent)
• No prior experience required – passion for healthcare and customer service
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Monmouth

Hours: 16 hours per week,As flexible as possible to include Saturday holiday cover.

Salary: £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.00 per hour depending on age (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You’ll Be Doing:

We’re Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) ORa keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
