Job summary

Superdrug is hiring at Southport for a part-time role as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant or Dispenser. You’ll support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment, while delivering excellent service at the counter and dispensary.

No prior experience needed if you’re passionate about healthcare and customer service. We offer strong training, a supportive environment, and real progression opportunities within a large UK healthcare network.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) or interest in healthcare to begin pharmacy career
• No prior experience required—passion for healthcare and customer service
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Open to training in additional services

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Southport

Hours: 16 hours per week, Tuesday - Friday, 9.30 - 13.30 with flexibility

Salary: Up to £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.00 per hour depending on age (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment

We're Looking For

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
