Job summary

Superdrug in Oxford is hiring for both Dispenser and Trainee Pharmacy Assistant roles. 16 hours per week at competitive hourly rates, with opportunities to develop within a busy community pharmacy.

We welcome NVQ Level 2 qualified applicants and those new to pharmacy who are eager to start a healthcare career. Training and progression are supported in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Oxford Templars

Hours: 16 hours per week

Salary: £14.20 per hour (Dispenser) / £9.90 - £13.15 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising

We’re Looking For

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
