Job summary

Superdrug Stores in Leeds Merrion Centre is hiring for a flexible pharmacy colleague. We welcome qualified Dispensers or those starting as Trainee Pharmacy Assistants, offering 20 hours per week Monday–Friday and a competitive hourly rate.

You will support counter sales, stock, and dispensary service, with training and development to grow in healthcare and customer service. Join a nationwide network of over 200 pharmacies and 90+ clinics, with great benefits and career progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent)

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Leeds Merrion Centre (LS2 8NG)

Hours: 20 hours per week – Monday - Friday's

Salary: £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment


• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary


• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism


• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising

We’re Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.


• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service


• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn


• Ability to work well in a team or independently


• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment


• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
