Job summary

Superdrug is seeking motivated individuals for our Folkestone pharmacy team. We welcome qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who want to start as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Folkestone, hours include Saturdays, salary £13.80 per hour for Dispenser or up to £13.00 per hour for Trainee depending on age. We value customers, care and service and will support your development with training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) is preferred.
• No prior experience required for trainee role.
• Passion for healthcare and customer service is essential.
• Friendly, positive attitude and team-orientated mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Deliver service across the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensure customers and patients are served with care and efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising.

Location: Folkestone
Hours: 8 hours, working Saturdays
Salary: £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.00 per hour depending on age (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You\'ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising

We\'re Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
