The hourly rate for this role is £13.32 and up to £15.05 across selected locations within London.

About the Opportunity

As a Dispenser working within one of our stores, you will be a key member of our pharmacy team, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy and healthcare services.

In this role, you'll build great relationships with patients by listening and understanding their needs. Your responsibilities include greeting customers, dispensing prescriptions, ensuring the safe sale of medicines, and providing advice to support patients in making informed health decisions. This is a store-based role in the UK; remote applicants and candidates outside the UK will not be considered unless they can provide relevant UK qualifications and right to work evidence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prescription dispensing, including ordering medicines, labelling, endorsing, and collection of prescriptions.
2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to manage and deliver pharmacy services.
3. Provide care and advice about medicines, referring queries to the Pharmacist when necessary.
4. Follow Standard Operating Procedures to support safe and legal dispensing.
5. Stay updated with new innovations and comply with operational processes.
6. Support patients in managing their prescriptions and medicines effectively to promote adherence and reduce waste.
7. Work with evolving technologies to improve dispensing processes and patient safety.

You will receive regular training to develop your healthcare knowledge and have opportunities for career progression, including training as a Pharmacy Technician or in store leadership.

Minimum Requirements

1. Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or currently working towards and completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
2. Current and valid UK right to work. Note: This role does not qualify for sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in community pharmacy.
