Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Dispensary Services at Aintree University Hospital. The role supports pharmacists with dispensing, stock control and patient safety within a busy hospital pharmacy team.

Successful applicants will join a 7-day service and participate in weekend and bank holiday rotas, with opportunities for ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services is required or due within 3 months.
GPhC registration is required.

Responsibilities

To carry out dispensing of prescriptions and extemporaneous preparations per safe systems of work.
To ensure accurate and timely medication delivery to wards and departments.
To maintain records, stock levels and ensure regulatory compliance.
To mentor student technicians and support staff.
