Qualifications

• GCSE maths and English (grade 4 or equivalent) or demonstrated equivalent level of experience.
• GPhC approved Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Services or willingness to work towards.
• Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a hospital setting.
• Ability to use automated/electronic systems in a pharmacy environment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy services and dispensing processes.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training pertinent to the role.
• Previous experience of working in a hospital pharmacy dispensary.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing inpatient and outpatient prescriptions and discharge medication.
• Meeting and greeting people at reception and processing outpatient prescriptions and charges.
• Stock control and related stock management tasks.
