Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join the Dispensary & Education team at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. The role combines dispensing duties with training and mentoring responsibilities, offering a unique path to NVQ assessor status.

You will support apprentices, coordinate inductions, and help develop the Education and Training Team, with opportunities to progress to Internal Verifier.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with dispensary background.
• NVQ assessor training path available via CAVA award.
• Opportunity to progress towards Internal Verifier (IQA).
• Mentor and supervise Apprentice Assistants and pre-registration staff.

Responsibilities

• Act as an NVQ assessor on completion of CAVA award.
• Progress to Internal Verifier (IQA) after gaining relevant experience.
• Mentor and supervise Apprentice Assistants.
• Coordinate inductions and provide training for pre-registration staff.
• Assist in recruitment and onboarding of Apprentices and Pre-registration staff.
