Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join the John Radcliffe Pharmacy department, covering both dispensary and ward work. The role supports the dispensary team, with weekend rotation and training duties for new staff and apprentices.

Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy services and be registered with the GPhC, with strong customer service and communication skills to ensure high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Comprehensive dispensary experience, hospital or community.
• Experience training/supervising other staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the dispensary, stores and ward-based work at John Radcliffe Hospital.
• Labeling, dispensing and checking duties and KPI tracking.
• Support training and induction of new team members and apprentices.
• Provide patient counselling and handle ward-based medicines reconciliation.
