Job summary

Menzies Aviation in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Customer Services and Ground Operations assistant to support aircraft turnarounds and processing. You will ensure paperwork is completed, adapt to new technology, drive airside operations, and report any damages to the Line Manager.

The role requires a full five-year work/education history, a valid passport, National Insurance, a full UK driving licence, and security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all paperwork relating to the aircraft turnaround is completed.
• Utilise new technology introduced by the station to enhance operation.
• Take care of company property and report damage to Line Manager.
• Airside driving duties.
• Use iPads or tablets as required.
• Use radios for communication.
• Adapt to airline procedure changes.
• Prepare detailed written reports for delays or safety incidents.
• Assist Controller, DM's & Management to maintain a safe workplace.
• Carry out additional duties as requested by management during busy periods.

Role Purpose

What you will be doing

• Ensure all paperwork relating to the aircraft turnaround is completed
• Utilise any new technology introduced by the station to enhance the operation
• Taking care of any company property, and reporting any damage to Line Manager
• Airside driving duties
• Use Ipad's or tablets if product dictates.
• Use radios at all times for communication.
• Embrace change of airline procedures.
• Detailed written reports for delays or any safety incident while in charge of a flight.
• Assist Controller, DM's & Management in ensuring the workplace is a safe environment to work.
• Additional duties - From time to time you will be expected to carry out duties as and when requested by a manager which are related to the services offered by this company, particularly during busy periods, foul weather conditions or to assist our customers at short notice.
