Job summary

Staffline is seeking a Despatch Clerk for a busy distribution centre in Doncaster. The role involves 4 on 4 off shifts, 6am–6pm and 6pm–6am, with duties to asegur despatches, update systems and liaise with drivers.

This temporary position offers on-site canteen and free parking, with a pay rate of £27 per annum. Staffline emphasizes accuracy, initiative and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• KPI reporting and data entry may be required.
• Must be able to follow procedures and deadlines.
• Ability to liaise with drivers and planning teams.
• Attention to accuracy and timely communication.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately despatch deliveries with any relevant paperwork or information.
• Update despatch or delivery information in customer systems.
• Monitor return of empty equipment from deliveries.
• Notify relevant parties of late deliveries or loading delays.
• Direct drivers to correct locations on arrival at site.
• Complete customer or ESL KPIs as required.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Senior Transport Clerk.
