Job summary

A discreet, experienced Housekeeper is sought to join the household team of a large private residence in London. You will report to the House Manager/Butler and work as part of a small professional team to uphold luxury standards.

You will manage cleaning, climate control, laundry, turndown, deliveries and stock, while ensuring absolute privacy and confidentiality in a silent service environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in private UHNW households.
• Excellent professional housekeeping skills and knowledge of luxury materials and finishes.
• Confident use of household equipment: humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air purifiers, cleaning systems, and basic apps and timers.
• Experience caring for delicate items and high-value wardrobes.
• Clear, concise communication.
• Excellent time management, accuracy and organisation.
• Absolute discretion and respect for confidentiality.
• Verifiable references from previous private households.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness across four floors including formal reception rooms, spa area, kitchen, gym, bedrooms and family areas.
• Carry out daily and weekly cleaning schedules, including care of luxury surfaces and materials.
• Manage laundry cycle, care for luxury fabrics and coordinated dry cleaning.
• Prepare evening turndown service and tidy living areas with fresh amenities.
• Log deliveries, returns, and keep storage areas immaculate with FIFO organisation.
• Work from checklists with daily reports and maintain NDA and privacy protocols.
