The role focuses on promoting independence, risk assessment, and tailored support plans, with opportunities to run small group activities and contribute to wellbeing.

Salary is £13.87 per hour for 37.5 hours per week, with a not-for-profit ethos reinvesting in staff development and flexible working options within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with physical or learning disabilities or high needs.
• Empathetic and capable of relating to people with diverse needs.
• Able to work under pressure and maintain accurate records.
• Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

Responsibilities

• Support customers with learning and physical disabilities to build independence and reach their potential.
• Provide one-to-one support when needed.
• Promote safety through risk assessments and regular reviews.
• Assess needs and update support plans.
• Deliver small group activities to support recovery and wellbeing.
