National Wealth Fund Limited is seeking an experienced Director for Portfolio Management to oversee a growing portfolio of loans, guarantees and equity assets. The role is hybrid with a Leeds office and focuses on governance, risk management and value creation across the portfolio.

You will lead the portfolio strategy, coordinate with investment and risk teams, and mentor a high-performing PM group to ensure robust returns aligned with the Fund's mission.

Qualifications

• Established portfolio and people management skills in an infrastructure context.
• Demonstrable commercial expertise with accountability for high-value projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management across internal and external actors.
• Strong consultancy and project management capabilities with fast comprehension of complex information.
• Investment experience including equity, debt structuring, credit analysis and portfolio monitoring.
• Experience with fixed and floating loans, guarantees, direct equity investments and funds.
• Robust understanding of due diligence for infrastructure financing.

Responsabilités

• Oversee key portfolio projects and engage with sponsors and fund managers.
• Represent the Fund on investee company boards, lead governance and risk management.
• Monitor portfolio returns and implement risk mitigations to meet objectives.
• Contribute to design and implementation of Portfolio Management system.
• Lead valuation assessments and oversee financial models and sensitivity analyses.
• Manage a high-performing portfolio management team to drive returns.
• Coordinate documentation, covenant testing and financial projections for deals.
• Prepare materials for Investment Committee and Credit Committee, outlining risks and pricing.
