Job summary

National Wealth Fund in Leeds seeks a Director to lead the Portfolio Management team, overseeing a growing portfolio of loans, guarantees and equity assets and guiding risk, governance and valuation activities.

You will chair boards where appropriate, drive portfolio performance, develop risk mitigation, and support the Investment Committee with robust reporting and strategic insights. Hybrid role with 3 days in the Leeds office.

Qualifications

• Portfolio and people management skills in an infrastructure context.
• Commercial accountability for high value, sensitive projects.
• Experience across infrastructure sectors including energy, digital, construction or social infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio projects, engage sponsors and equity fund managers.
• Represent the Fund on investee boards, leading governance, strategy and risk management.
• Prepare reports for Investment Committee and Credit Committee with risk and pricing insights.
