Job summary

LEGO Digital Play is looking for a Director of Production to lead production for shared platform technology that game teams build and ship on. You will set the roadmap and release cadence across engine SDKs, backend services, and the release pipeline, while managing relationships with internal teams, vendors, and co-development partners.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping and operating live games.
• Leading production for shared technology used by multiple teams.
• Fluency in SDKs, backend services, cloud infrastructure and data pipelines.
• Ability to evaluate technical designs and sequencing.
• Experience managing third-party vendor relationships.
• Clear writing for roadmaps, release notes and decisions.
• Single point of accountability for schedule.
• Collaboration with product and UX design teams.

Responsibilities

• Own planning and delivery of the platform roadmap with product leadership.
• Run the release train: versioned, stable SDKs, backend services, tools and reference projects.
• Translate product needs into platform priorities and constraints for teams.
• Establish onboarding, rollout and upgrade processes for teams using the platform.
• Manage dependencies with partner platform, legal, trust & safety, data and infra.
• Lead third-party vendor relationships: contracts, roadmaps and escalation paths.
• Grow the production function as titles expand, with resource planning and KPIs.
• Run a lightweight production process for a small team shipping fast.
• Define and report platform delivery health metrics.
