Job summary

LEGO Digital Play is seeking a Head of Data Platform to build and lead the data function across the company. You will govern data collection, ensure quality and privacy, and provide analytics and insights for product, marketing, finance and leadership.

You will grow a multidisciplinary team spanning data engineering, BI, analytics and data product, setting standards for trust, cost, and compliance from source to dashboard.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience leading data platform, data engineering and analytics teams.
• Proven ability to lead through other leaders across engineering, BI/analytics and data science.
• Deep fluency in modern data architecture (cloud warehouses, streaming and batch processing, data modelling).
• Experience running data governance and privacy programs (GDPR and COPPA).
• Credibility with a data-fluent executive team, turning priorities into platform investments.
• Experience owning budgets and vendor relationships for data infrastructure and tooling.
• Fluency in live games metrics: engagement, retention, monetisation, and live-ops.
• Experience in user acquisition analytics: attribution, LTV and ROAS.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term vision and strategy for data across the organisation.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary organisation spanning data engineering, BI, data science and data product.
• Own the data platform end to end, including tooling, pipelines, warehouse and costs.
• Collaborate on data conventions: event taxonomy, schemas, contracts, semantic layer, KPI definitions.
• Embed privacy by design and data governance with legal, security and trust & safety.
• Provide self-serve data access, analytics, experimentation and data science capabilities.
• Make product and revenue data finance-grade with reliable feeds and FX handling.
• Collaborate on data modelling foundations for user acquisition, attribution and ROAS.
