Job summary

Interpath is seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Director to join our fast-paced Loan Portfolio Diligence team, with a focus on structured finance transactions. You will oversee complex loan portfolio diligence engagements, originate new business, and shape the direction of the practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structured finance and securitisation.
• Proven track record leading loan diligence engagements.
• Strong commercial acumen with client origination experience.
• Technical knowledge of structured finance diligence and credit risk.
• Experience with data tapes and regulatory reporting (ESMA templates).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across all phases of loan portfolio diligence engagements.
• Oversee delivery of due diligence, re-underwriting, data verification, lending policy review, and AUP testing.
• Provide strategic oversight of scoping engagements, risk assessment, and transaction execution, with engagement leader responsibility.
• Cultivate and deepen existing client relationships, while originating and developing new relationships to expand the firm’s presence.
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
• Collaborate with Managing Director and other Directors to shape strategic direction and expansion of the Loan Portfolio Diligence business.
• Represent the firm in industry forums and contribute to thought leadership and market visibility.
• Drive operational efficiency and quality across engagements, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory developments, and innovations in structured finance diligence.
