Job summary

Interpath is seeking a commercially driven Director to lead the Loan Portfolio Diligence team, focusing on structured finance transactions. The role includes overseeing due diligence, re-underwriting, data verification, and AUP testing while developing client relationships and expanding service offerings.

You will manage senior client relationships, mentor teams, and help shape the practice's growth across the UK and beyond as part of Global Securitisation Services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structured finance and securitisation or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading or engaging in loan diligence engagements for a variety of structured finance transactions.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in business development and managing senior client relationships.
• Technical knowledge of structured finance diligence requirements and credit risk assessment.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Inspirational leader with experience mentoring and developing junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across all phases of loan portfolio diligence engagements.
• Oversee complex due diligence, re-underwriting, data verification, lending policy review, and AUP testing with quality control.
• Shape scoping, risk assessment, and transaction execution with engagement leader responsibility.
• Cultivate and deepen client relationships while originating and developing new business.
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams, fostering excellence and continuous development.
• Collaborate with other divisions to deliver integrated solutions and market visibility.
• Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory developments, and innovations in structured finance diligence.
