Job summary

Birmingham Newman University is seeking a Director of Strategic Planning and Performance to lead a new Directorate and turn strategy into action across institutional planning, performance analytics and systemic reform.

Reporting to the University Secretary, you will drive data governance, student records systems transformation and multi-year programmes, building high-performing teams and a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in strategic and operational planning
• Expert knowledge of business intelligence and data governance
• Strong track record leading complex change programmes
• Experience in higher education and student records systems

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the new Strategic Planning and Performance Directorate
• Drive annual planning, performance analytics, statutory returns and student number planning
• Lead on data governance, literacy and quality assurance systems
• Act as Programme Director for multi-year Student Records Systems and Processes Transformation Programme
