Job summary

Chichester College is seeking a Director of SEND and Additional Learning Support to lead and enhance inclusive learning across its campuses. You will oversee SEND provision, work strategically and operationally to embed inclusive practice, and ensure compliance with SEND codes and statutory obligations.

The role requires a detailed understanding of SEND reform, cross-site experience, and a proven track record of reducing attainment gaps for learners with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding additional learning support to all students.
• Ensure a cohesive and embedded approach at all CCG colleges to inclusivity.
• Develop provision in line with SEND reform and maximise the impact on learners.
• Ensure the Group meets the requirement of the SEND code of practice and statutory obligations.
• A detailed understanding of SEND reform.
• Experience of working across multiple sites and managing SEND teams to deliver exceptional support.
• A proven track record of reducing achievement gaps for learners with additional needs.
