Job summary

Chichester College Group is seeking a Senior Learning Support Assistant to lead and develop a dedicated Learning Support team for learners with SEND. You will provide high-level support to enable learners to succeed in their programmes and work toward improving attendance and achievement.

You will assist the ALS Team Leader in coordinating and maintaining the quality of LSA and Learning Support provision, contributing to a positive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting 16-18-year-olds.
• Understanding of the SEND Code of Practice (2015).
• Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide learners with a high level of learning support to achieve their programme of study.
• Focus on achieving high learner attendance and success rates against targets.
• Support the ALS Team Leader in coordinating and ensuring quality of LSA and Learning Support provision.
