Overview of Job Role

To assume overall responsibility for Corporate, group and Meeting & Events segments, developing and implementing strategy activities to drive performance, activity planning to achieve targets, and managing top global accounts.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute corporate segment & meeting & events strategy in conjunction with General Manager, Revenue Manager and Head of Sales.
  • Develop and implement challenging but realistic sales plan for the hotel.
  • Activity planning and execution of initiatives to drive sales and achieve targets.
  • Research via local and national market knowledge to identify and win new business for the hotel
  • Attendance and ownership of weekly commercial meetings and hotel business reviews.
  • Manage top accounts for the hotel, taking responsibility of the RFP process, whilst attending relevant call cycles and client events.
  • Regular client relationship management activities to raise awareness of hotel rebrand.
  • Represent hotel at relevant exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Assist with site inspections and conversion of large enquiries for Business Groups, Meetings and Events.
  • Creating an environment where staff are motivated & encouraged to maximise sales and build a sales culture within the hotel
  • Establish long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
  • Management of Sales Manager position.
