Job summary

The Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group seeks a senior leader to guide patient experience, engagement and governance across the Trust. You will provide expert leadership to the Trust Board and Care Groups, translating priorities into clear policies, standards and measurable outcomes.

Leading the Patient Experience and Voice portfolio, you will ensure patient voices influence strategy, service design and evaluation, while overseeing complaints, PALS, surveys and volunteering initiatives to drive

Qualifications

• Master’s level education or equivalent experience.
• Management/leadership qualification or equivalent experience at post graduate level.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Registered nurse or other registered professional; alternatively, demonstrable senior professional knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for patient experience and voice portfolio and align with national and Trust priorities.
• Advise the Trust Board and Care Groups on patient engagement, experience, complaints and volunteering.
• Lead and chair the Patient Experience and Voice Improvement Group; ensure integration with patient safety and governance.
• Oversee complaints, PALS, surveys, patient stories, equality insights and community feedback to identify priorities.
• Ensure patient and community voices influence strategy, governance, service design and evaluation.
